Three products
Three robot products, from idea to customer
I took three products from first idea to customers: hardware, software, testing, site acceptance and, for one of them, the sale itself.

Fashion picking
Fashion returns are hard for robots: soft items in polybags, shoeboxes in every size, and labels that hide.
- Took the shoebox gripper from demo to product with two colleagues, which opened a new market segment for Sereact.
- With a colleague, built the bag-opening control software for Zalando and CEVA’s returns automation, ready for their teams to run and tune.
- Built the scan table from scratch, and delivered the fashion gripper.
Chilled picking
I owned chilled picking from the business case into site acceptance, in a cold room running live orders. Scan rate reached 96% and uptime stayed above 97% running 24/7. More in the Rohlik case study.
Signal controller
A plug-and-play smart signal controller for robot deployments. I took it from concept and business case through design, deployment and the sale, made its launch film and wrote its setup guide. It is live with customers in Vienna and Berlin.
What I learned
- A demo is not a product. Shipping meant the unglamorous parts too: settings screens and tuning guides that let someone else run it.
- Owning the business case changes the engineering. You build what a customer will pay to run, not just what works on the bench.
